I returned to work today after spending 2 weeks at home with Tekla. I missed her horribly (and Greg) while I was working. The pictures above is what I found when I got home..... Tekla is our first baby, so we have been learning on our feet. We've been reading and listening as much as possible. One book I've been reading is "The Baby Whisperer". Great book. I recommend it to all new parents. While some of the authors tips are great, you have to apply them to your situation. We find ourselves having to take into account that Tekla is premature and shouldn't be here yet, but she is acting much like a normal 2 month old.

Sorry you are back to the grind. It is much more enjoyable and fulfilling to spend time with your family than any career...but you have to eat. :)
Books are great (you know me) but as you said, experience is going to be the best teacher here.

Withdrawls...LOL! I'm sure you're going crazy wanting to be with her while you're at work. But isn't she fun to come home to!! And she sure isn't looking much like a preemie these days. =)
LOL... I know I'm biased, but you are right, she doesn't look like a premie any longer.. and her pictures don't do her justice. She's just like me... not photogenic!

Oh my gosh you guys, she is a sweetie. I am sorry you had to go back to work. I am sure that Tekla was happy to have you home also. I love how chubby her cheeks are getting. I am very happy for you guys. =)
