As I posted before we have begun to get ready to bring Tekla home from the hospital tomorrow. Unfortunately this is now on hold. Tekla began having bradycardia (slow heart rate) and apnea (no breathing) episodes Tuesday night. She has had these in the past, but usually corrected in just a few seconds (5 - 10). The last 2 nights she has required "stimulation" from the nurse to correct these. Both episodes have occurred about 4 am.
I've been heart broken the since yesterday. I so much want her home with us. Guess I'm being selfish. I know the best place for her is there in the hospital where she can be monitored closely, but I know all the risk of being in the hospital.
Looks like it will be next week sometime before she comes home.

Guys, I'm so sorry to hear this. Things had gone so smooth up 'til now, it was almost hard to believe. I know you are crushed, but I also know she is in good hands and will be home with you before you know it. I'll keep her 9and you) in my prayers, as always. Hang in there and don't let yourself get discouraged. She's beautiful!

So sorry about this. But it's better that they caught it now so that it can be corrected. You guys have been so patient but your time will come and little Tekla will be home in your arms.

:( Im feeling your disapointment Hang in there she will be home soon. You want to be sure she is ready, but I know what you mean about the risk of being in the hospital too....Praying she is home soon..
I am also disappointed, but it's better that she come home as healthy as she can be. There are dangers of staying too long as you point out, but hopefully she will stay just long enough to get over her problems without developing any new ones.

She'll be home before you know it. She has made leaps and bounds soo fast. She'll be home soon.
dont worry little bro she will be fine. I know you both want her home and so do we. You knoe we had to go through something similar with Ryan.God will work it out and he will touch her her little head and heal her. she will be home soon and the celebration will be even greater. We love you all JEFF
